Movement is important for not only our physical health, but our mental health too.
We’re not talking about the physical activity of exercise (although that does all sorts of great things for you) but the act of moving our bodies. Our bodies are meant to move and the last year we asked them to sit. Sometimes for long hours in front of a screen without giving them a break from that sitting posture. Without doing the regular daily things we do, which believe it or not all form part in the building of our bodies. Going to the grocery store, driving to work, taking work out classes at a space, visiting friends, traveling, etc. Join us for a talk with movement enthusiast and educator, Allison Jacks as she offers us a new way to think about how we move through our day and through the world.
