What are the odds of a student pursuing a STEAM career? At this year’s Discovery Event, we will be exploring odds and how they impact the trajectory of a student’s life. Saturday Academy’s impact on those odds helps students to see themselves in STEAM careers.
Here at Saturday Academy, it is our mission to encourage students to follow their curiosity and to increase the odds of underserved students entering the STEAM fields. Serving grades 2-12 in the areas of science, technology, engineering, art, and math since 1983, we have paved the way for students to build their confidence and explore topics of interest to them outside the school day.
In 2021, Saturday Academy vowed to bring more programming directly to underserved and underrepresented students through our Saturday 2 You (SA2U) program helping provide free STEAM classes and camps for students who oftentimes have the odds against them.
