Also known as America’s Seed Fund, The Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs provide a combined total of over $4 billion in early stage, non-dilutive funding for America’s entrepreneurs each year! Additionally, these awards are either grants or contracts (not loans or investment), which means that you as the entrepreneur don’t have to give up any equity or repay the funds so long as you complete the work in your grant.
