Examining DEI from a personal, workplace, and community lens, you will walk away with tools that enhance your DEI knowledge and ideas you can put into practice.

Jackie Wirz, PhD
Jackie Wirz, PhD, is the Executive Director at Donate Life Northwest, a longstanding nonprofit dedicated to saving lives through organ, eye, and tissue donation. Jackie takes great joy in connecting people, data, and ideas to create strategic solutions that develop community. From running a successful nonprofit during COVID to designing and funding an institution wide Title IX support program – even gathering 15,000 people to March for Science – her dynamic and imaginative approach makes a difference for individuals, organizations, and communities.
As a bipolar, minority woman in science, Jackie believe that the most important work we can do is to support URM and underserved populations as we work towards a just landscape. She is excited to partner with OBI on actionable, everyday DEI work.
