The Biotech Summit, Innovation Showcase, and Bio on the Vine reception brings together industry executives, scientists, entrepreneurs, and policymakers to celebrate our region’s thriving bioscience sector and identify ways our public and private institutions can collaborate to accelerate future innovation and growth.
For 2024, Oregon Bio is coordinating with Federal Agencies to bring in senior-level policymakers and innovation program leaders. Panel sessions are aligned with Federal Innovation day presentations held in major biotech regions. Topics include demystifying the regulatory landscape, innovations and initiatives in cancer research, and public-private partnerships.
The Innovation Showcase Pitch challenge connects researchers and entrepreneurs with industry leaders in the bioscience trade. A series of fast-moving pitch competitions demonstrate how basic and translational research creates the knowledge base that enables commercial innovation in health care and drives the critical pipeline where clinical breakthroughs become deliverable as real-world products and services, including therapeutics and medical devices.
