The health care industry is moving towards an interoperable system, one that will have the ability to exchange and make use of information across organizations. Progress towards interoperability has been made by both the public and private sector but questions still exist. What is preventing interoperability at scale? How can we advance toward an interoperable system? And most importantly, how will interoperability benefit the consumer?
Cambia Grove is exploring these questions during a two-day Interoperability Summit in Seattle, Washington. The Summit brings together innovators and health care leaders from across the country to learn how to overcome current barriers to transforming the system to become interoperable for consumers. This must attend event will use a three-pronged approach to understand the path towards interoperability, dividing the two-day event into themes:
The digitization of health data
Making the digitized health data interoperable in a way that empowers consumers
The consumer use case for digitized and interoperable health data
