The Office of Small Business Assistance has been helping businesses navigate government regulations since 2014. Trevor Leahy will be talking about some of the common challenges facing businesses both pre-COVID-19 and during phased reopening and recovery. He’ll share the resources provided by the Advocacy team and help answer questions about how businesses can make it in this new frontier.

Trevor Leahy is the Secretary of State’s Small Business Ombudsman. He has 12 years of state service in Oregon with the Office of Small Business Assistance and the Employment Department. Since 2014, he has been working with businesses on understanding compliance, identifying resources, and navigating the requirements for doing business in Oregon successfully, even in the face of pandemics. Trevor now manages the office of Small Business Assistance, where he and the rest of the Business Advocacy Team provide help to businesses with questions, concerns, or problems with state and local government agencies.
