- We’re excited to announce that after several months of effort, EndoSound, Inc. submitted our second 510(k) device application to the FDA for marketing clearance in January. The device, called the Biopsy Port Adapter, will open up the possibilities for more endoscopic ultrasound procedures in ambulatory surgical centers across the US.
- Signed MSAs with two major drug development companies for multiple Cryo-EM projects.
- University of Virginia Medical Center joined as one of four sites to provide Cryo-EM services.
- CryoFAST™ V1.3.2, an AI software that automates Cryo-EM dataflow and analysis, received high praise for doubling throughput and cutting costs by 50%.
- HTI is invited to present at the first Oregon AI Conference in Newport, Oregon
- Submitted NSF Phase 2 final report; monitoring impact of White House pause on federal grants.
- Gamma Diagnostics is one of 8 companies in the United States to be selected to present at the 4th Annual NIH Innovation Showcase during the American Stroke Association 2025 International Stroke Conference (ISC), which will be held in Los Angeles, CA Feb. 4-7. The showcase is being co-hosted by ISC in collaboration with both the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute and the National Institute for Neurological Disorders and Stroke. The event will provide an opportunity for companies that are developing therapeutics, medical devices, and other technologies for stroke patients to interact with key opinion leaders, translational research experts, potential investors, customers, and strategic partners. We are looking forward to sharing Gamma’s research in this area and networking with colleagues and thought leaders working in this space on how we can collaborate on the ability to use GPF measurements to impact patient care!

Benjamin Nahir, PhD, MBA
Benjamin Nahir joins the OBI/OTRADI board bringing extensive experience in venture capital and startup ecosystem development. Currently serving as Venture Principal at Elevate Capital Fund in Portland, Oregon, Ben has spent over six years helping build and nurture early-stage companies through hands-on mentorship and strategic investment. His deep involvement in the Pacific Northwest startup community includes serving as Director of TiE Oregon Angels, where he played a pivotal role in connecting entrepreneurs with investment opportunities and educational resources.
Throughout his career, Ben has demonstrated expertise in all aspects of venture operations, from deal sourcing and due diligence to portfolio management and startup mentorship. His commitment to fostering entrepreneurial growth, combined with his comprehensive understanding of early-stage investing, makes him a valuable addition to our board.
OEN’s AOBIO Program Returns: Connecting Bioscience Founders with Capital
The Oregon Entrepreneurs Network (OEN) is launching its 2025 Angel Oregon BIO (AOBIO) program with an exciting opportunity for bioscience entrepreneurs. Starting March 6th, Cohort 1 will embark on a comprehensive journey to explore venture capital investment as a growth strategy. The program features online educational sessions covering capital readiness, valuations, cap tables, and due diligence, with personalized pitch coaching and hands-on practice with local investors.
Participants will have the chance to refine their presentations, connect with angel investors, and potentially secure investment ranging from $185K to $350K. With federal funding uncertainty in the bioscience industry, AOBIO provides a timely platform to build essential investor relationships and prepare for future growth opportunities. The program combines the flexibility of online learning with in-person networking, and hybrid options are available for those outside the Portland Metro area.
